El próximo lunes 21 de octubre se estrena la serie de “El tiempo entre costuras” http://www.antena3.com/series/el-tiempo-entre-costuras/.Cuando leí la novela, la parte que más me gustó sin duda fue la que se desarrollaba en Marruecos. Por eso pretendo realizar un viaje siguiendo los pasos de Sira (la protagonista de la novela) por estas tierras, comenzando en Tánger.
Haré noche en Tarifa en la Casa Amarilla (http://www.lacasaamarilla.net/), siempre me quedo allí, porque es un hotelito con mucho encanto y a muy buen precio en pleno centro del pueblo. Desde allí, cogeré un ferry a Tánger.
En Tánger , si el presupuesto me lo permite pienso hospedarme como Sira (la protagonista del libro) en el Hotel Minzah (http://www.leroyal.com/morocco/thecomplex.asp). No sólo ella se quedó en este hotel, también lo hicieron Ava Gardner, Ian Fleming o Francis Bacon.
Si no me llegase el dinero me quedaría en el hotel Rembrandt (www.hotel-rembrandt.com/ ), que se encuentra en el boulevard Pasteur, por el que Sira transita en el libro.
También quiero recorrer la antigua Avenida de España (hoy en día avenida Mohammed VI), que bordea la bahía frente al Estrecho, y que hoy es una zona de marcha. Sin embargo, no me espero de Tánger una atmósfera tan animada como la que se describe en el libro, sino un encanto decadente, incluso kitsch.
Por último, me perderé por su laberíntica Medina. Allí, aun existe la Legación Americana en Tánger, donde Hillgarth se reunió con Sira antes de volver a España para comentarle cuál sería su misión. En la actualidad es un museo de la ciudad. Para más romanticismo, hay que decir que en sus alrededores se rodó la película de Casablanca.
The novel “The time between seams” has published more than three years ago but it is now when I have read it and I've enjoyed it immensely. The thing I love most about the book is the part that take place in Morocco. So I intend to follow in the footsteps of Sira ( the protagonist of the novel) in these lands , beginning in Tangier .
I'll night in Tarifa in the Yellow House ( http://www.lacasaamarilla.net/ ) , always stay there, because it is a charming little hotel and great value in the heart of town. From there , I'll take a ferry to Tangier.
In Tangier , ifI have enough money I would like to as Sira ( the protagonist of the book ) in the Hotel Minzah ( http://www.leroyal.com/morocco/thecomplex.asp) . Not only she stayed in this hotel , so did Ava Gardner , Ian Fleming and Francis Bacon.

Finally , I will miss its labyrinthine Medina . There still exists the American Legation in Tangier, where Sira Hillgarth met before returning to Spain to tell what his mission. Today it is a museum of the city. For more romance , I must say that in its surroundings was filmed Casablanca
